We work closely with your family veterinarian in a team-based approach to provide high quality continuity of care. We offer emergency stabilization, hospitalization and if needed, a wide variety of surgical procedures.  You no longer need to drive to Charleston or out of state to get the emergency care you need now!

Dr. Matthew Tenwolde trained at the #1 School of Veterinary Medicine, U.C. Davis, graduating in 2007. Then did additional training at The Ohio State University with a medical and surgical internship. He returned to UC Davis as an attending, teaching the next generation of veterinarians at a tertiary care medical center. He went on to start an emergency and specialty care hospital with colleagues in Sacramento, California. Later seeking even more training with a surgical internship. Now he brings his expertise to the lovely Lowcountry.
